About Me

I began singing at age 10 with my school choir, and when I turned 12 I joined the Winnipeg Youth Chorus under Lisa and Garth Rempel. I sang with the audition-only ensemble within the choir called Enharmony, which performed all around the world, including at the Murau International Music Festival in Murau, Austria. We also sang the world premiere of “I Believe“, a concert work by Zane Zalis, at the Lincoln Centre in New York City.

I attended high-school at Miles Macdonell Collegiate and participated in the school choral program, as well as the audition-only singing group Prodigy. I studied music production under Zane Zalis, world-renowned composer, musician and educator. As part of being in Prodigy, I have performed on stage with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (Canada Day 2018 at The Forks), performed at several different charity events including CBC Radio’s Harvest of Hope, sang on-stage with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, the Teddy Bear’s Picnic and at the Lieutenant Governor’s House.

Along with my school performance activities, I studied dance and musical theatre at Ken Peter Dance Express under the tutelage of Amanda Haines. I’ve competed at several different dance competitions, having numerous 1st place finishes, and having won scholarships and top awards along the way. Last year, I won professional representation with the Forte Talent Boutique in Toronto at the Move Dance Competition.

Since graduation, I have performed with Ron Paley and his Big Band on the Lyric Stage at Assiniboine Park, sang the national anthem for the Citizenship Ceremony at the Lieutenant Governor’s House, and performed at Le Garage in St. Boniface. I have steady gigs at the VIP Theatre Lounge as a solo singing act and as a busker at The Forks. I am continuing my vocal training with Monika Wall, and am teaching dance through the River East Transcona School Division.

I can sing a variety of musical styles, and have included samples of my work below. I am open to performing at almost any venue with any kind of ensemble or band, please get in touch if you think I would be a good fit at your event or function!
